Oh boy, Christmas is right around the corner. I can’t believe it’s already that time of year. For the first time in a long time I am very excited about Christmas and very excited about gift giving. Don’t get me wrong, I love giving gifts and that’s my favorite part of this holiday but it can be very stressful if money is tight. And in my house, money IS tight.

This year though, I have decided to make all of my gifts. I will even be using home-made wrapping paper. The main reason for this is lack of income and time to go shopping to buy gifts for my entire family. I have a HUGE family. But the main reason I want to make all of my gifts is because I think it is more meaningful that way. I have so many ideas. These ideas are a mixture of things I found on Pinterest and things I have thought up on my own.  It’s so hard for me to follow tutorials completely, so even when I do find an idea else where I always end up tweaking it a little (or a lot).

Anyway, there are 36 days until Christmas and I have already completed the gifts I will be giving to two of my nephews. I am very happy with them and will be posting pictures in a couple days. Now all I have to do is figure out what I will be giving as gifts to the rest of my family…. hmmm… Any ideas??
